There will be no guest speaker at this meeting as we will be celebrating the holiday season!

Members are encouraged to bring finger food to share (no fish or seafood, please) and a non-perishable food item or a small unwrapped gift (for anyone of any gender or age) to support the Simcoe Hall Settlement House gift drive.

The OAA will also be hosting an art piece gift exchange. Members interested in participating can bring a original piece (no copies or reproductions please) sized 3.5” x 3.5” to fit a mat with a 3” x 3” opening. Mats will be provided at the meeting for participating members.

The OAA will also celebrate the season with an acrylic round-robin paint-off, and is looking for 5 members interested in participating. Canvases (16x20) and basic colour paints and medium will be provided. At the start of the evening, all 5 artists will paint for 10 minutes, and then the paintings rotate to the next person, along with the reference material. Every 10 minutes the paintings rotate again until the painting is returned to the original artist to finish off. At the end of the evening, all paintings will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to charity.
