Monthly Artist Demos
We offer eight free demos and two socials for members and non-members at our monthly meetings. They are held from September to June on the second Wednesday of the month at the Arts Resource Centre, 45 Queen St, Oshawa @ 7 pm.
Art Association Holiday Party
Join us for an evening of creativity, community, and festive cheer as we celebrate the holiday season together!

Bring a finger-food style dish to share (no heated items, please).

Marissa Sweet
Marissa worked in acrylics and shared her approach to plein air painting. She brought her plein air kit to show the group and how she sets up her gear to paint. Although the painting was created inside, it will be inspired by reference photos taken during her travels through the beautiful Algonquin Highlands. She demonstrated how she interprets an outdoor scene on canvas, with a focus on light, colour harmony, and capturing the mood of the landscape. (November 12, 2025) Photo by Shannon Lebert
